Welcome to the ArtsNorth website

The Northern Sydney Region provides outstanding learning, performance and exhibition opportunities for students Kindergarten to Year 12. Teachers and students are supported in all art forms: music, dance, drama, visual arts, film, technology, public speaking and debating.

We have a range of programs: a Regional Primary Band, Secondary and Primary Choral Concerts and a Spectacular at the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall and Entertainment Centre, a Drama Festival at NIDA, an extensive Dance Festival at the Glen St Theatre, a Film Festival at the Dendy Opera Quays as well as a Visual Arts Camp and Exhibitions, Drama and Debating Camps and regional debating competitions. This list is not exhaustive and advice and expertise is offered to individual schools and teachers as required.

Training, performance opportunity, innovation and excellence are the hallmarks of the ArtsNorth Creative Arts program.

Applications for Arts Council Funding 2013 NOW OPEN

The purpose of the Northern Sydney Region creative arts funding is to support major creative and performing arts activities at the regional level. The application includes a form describing the activity and a form detailing the budget. Please make sure that both these forms are completed and submitted.

Arts funding applications for 2013 are due on November 29, 2012.
